What this usually means
On EVs, weak cooling can be refrigerant level, cabin filter restriction, compressor control, or thermal-management software. Start with cabin filter + refrigerant leak check before replacing the electric compressor. Compressor replacement should be the last step, not the first quote.
What to ask the workshop before approving repair
