What this usually means
SBC (Sensotronic Brake Control) was a known weak point on W211 — Mercedes issued multiple goodwill replacements. If you see the SBC warning, contact the AGENT FIRST to check goodwill eligibility (some W211s qualify even out of warranty). Don't pay for SBC repair without confirming this.
